7:00AM 9:30AM Juke Joint Festival 5K & 8K run Registration begins at 7AM, races start at 8 from the old Greyhound Station, Third and Issaquena. Pre-registration is $15.00. Registration will be $20.00 the day of the race.
9:30AM 10:00PM Juke Joint Festival Parade The Coahoma County High School Marching Band, Dazzling Mills Family Jugglers, unicycles and more will perform. Everyone is invited to join the parade with your favorite instrument or costume! The parade will line up at Regions Bank, 211 East Second Street.
11:00AM 2:00PM Robinson's Racing Pigs Watch the pig races FREE on John Lee Hooker Lane (300 block of Yazoo Avenue). Performances at 11AM, Noon, 1PM and 2PM.
1:00PM 3:00PM Woodrow Wilkins Book Signing Author Woodrow Wilkins will be signing copies of his new novel "Delta Blues" at the Rock & Blues Museum, 113 E. Second, Downtown Clarksdale. Call (901) 605-8662 for more information.
1:00PM 6:00PM Danny Broadway Art Show Mixing layers of pigments with broad, energetic brushstrokes and vibrant colors, artist Danny Broadway creates serene scenes that speak to the human soul. His artwork is on display at the Bank Building, Second and Yazoo downtown.
All Day various free stuff for the family Moon bounce, bungee jump and water balls - on Issaquena Avenue Rock wall climb - 200 block of Yazoo Avenue (street is closed) Children's train rides and petting zoo, 10AM till 5PM - old train station on Issaquena Avenue Dazzling Mills Jugglers - 11:30AM and 1PM shows, Delta Blues Museum stage Turkey & Duck calling contests for all ages - Noon to 2PM, Delta Avenue & Second Street. Bus tours of historic Clarksdale with Birdsong Tours - leave from the old Greyhound station at 11AM, 12:30, 2:00, 3:30 and 5:00PM. One seat is included in your $15.00 wrist band. Juke Joint Film Festival - various screenings from Noon to 5PM at Delta Cinema, 11 Third Street.
