1:00PM 6:00PM Danny Broadway Art Show Mixing layers of pigments with broad, energetic brushstrokes and vibrant colors, artist Danny Broadway creates serene scenes that speak to the human soul. His artwork is on display at the Bank Building, Second and Yazoo downtown.
1:00PM 3:30PM Delta Blues Museum educational program Big Jon Short presents "Blues in Schools: Hill Country Rhythms & Delta Blues" in the Arts & Education room at the Delta Blues Museum, 1 Blues Alley in Clarksdale.
5:00PM 7:00PM Reception Liz Mandeville & her art "Clarksdale" Chicago Blueslady and artist Liz Mandeville will be at the Rock and Blues Museum, 113 E. Second for the opening of her art exhibit "Clarksdale Images". Light refreshments will be served. For more information call (901) 605-8662.
5:00PM 7:00PM Care Station Fish Fry Enjoy Delta catfish, hush puppies, fries, slaw and a dessert for $10 per plate. Drive through or seating available; tickets may be purchased in advance at First National Bank or from any board member, also at the door. The Care Station is located on Yazoo Avenue next to the Delta Blues Museum Stage.
