10:00AM 6:00PM Clarksdale High School registration Student registration for the 2012-2013 school year at Clarksdale High school will take place this week. Seniors can register today from 10AM to 6PM with late registration tomorrow from 10 to 3 in the Clarksdale High gym. Documents from previous years will NOT be available; parents and guardians should have the student’s birth certificate, social security card, form 121 immunization records and two proofs of residency showing the current physical address to complete the registration process. 12:05PM 1:00PM Third Thursday Home Gardening series Coahoma County Extension Service offers free workshops every month. "Grapes for Mississippi: how to grow in your home vinyard" is the July topic. Workshops are held at the Extension Service office, 503 East 2nd Street in Clarksdale.
5:30PM 7:00PM CommYoUnity Day organizational meeting All civic groups, churches, schools, businesses, youth groups, city and county officials and interested individuals are invited to discuss cleaning up Clarksdale amd Coahoma County. This meeting will be held in the private dining room of Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center and is sponsored by the Clarksdale Coahoma County Chamber of Commerce.
